Summer is coming! It’s time to shake off those winter layers, get outdoors and get active! The Medibank Feel Good Program can help you do just that!

On now until Saturday 3 December in South Bank Parklands, the Medibank Feel Good Program offers city goers a range of free fitness classes and activities.

Whether you like yoga or pilates, zumba, high energy classes or aqua aerobics there is something for everyone. There’s even ‘bubacise’, if you have a little one in tow.

The classes are held at various times throughout the week and all you need to do is turn up, there are no bookings required! For the full class timetable, click here.

All classes are taught by qualified instructors and are suitable for all fitness levels, so there’s no need to worry.

As part of the program, early risers can enjoy a free ‘Motivation Morning’ full of fitness classes and activities, giveaways and healthy goodies on Saturday 29 October from 8am.

The morning will kick off with a relaxing yoga class from 8am to 8:45am on the Little Stanley Street Lawns. Stretch out those muscles, release all the stress and tension and meditate your troubles away. Sounds good to us! Yoga will be followed by an additional fitness class, which is on from 8:50am to 9:20am.

Then from 9:30am to 10:15am, enjoy an Aqua Aerobics session in the Boat Pool next to Streets Beach. This low impact class is designed to improve flexibility and muscle strength, and it’s great for anyone recovering from injury. It’ll also cool you down!

Throughout the morning, health and fitness advocates will be offering free treats, while sore participants can get a much-needed free, five minute massage from 8am to 9:45am.

So, if you’re looking for motivation to start your fitness journey, come along to the Motivation Morning. You’ll have fun and feel great too!

If you can’t make it to that, though, try a couple of the classes on offer! The Medibank Feel Good Program is on until Saturday 3 December in South Bank Parklands.
