If your New Year’s resolution was to join a gym and get fit, but your bank balance hasn’t allowed for it (well, that’s your excuse anyway) – the Medibank Feel Good Program on at South Bank is the perfect way to kick start your exercise habit without having to open your wallet.

Running up until 30 April, the weekly program offers a range of free low-impact and high-energy fitness classes, where you can dance, stretch, shake and swim your way to looking good and feeling great again!

All the classes are run by qualified instructors from Pure Health Clubs and include popular fitness classes like Energy, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba and Bubacise – all performed on the lush Little Stanley Street lawns.

New to the class roster this year, is Yoga Beats – an energising sequence of traditional yoga poses to set to modern music with a high emphasis on fun.

The popular Aqua Aerobics classes have also returned, being held in the Boat Pool on Saturday mornings.

During the weekly classes, acai specialists Kiss the Berry will also be out and about with their acai taster bowl incentive to get you motivated to come back every week. Participants using the Stamp Me app (available for free download via iTunes and Google Play) will receive a free acai taster as a superfood snack after selected classes.

If your class is bright and early, you’ll be pleased to know it’s just $2 parking at the South Bank Parklands carpark between 5am and 9am on weekdays. Perfect!

It only takes thirty days to form a good habit, so bring a towel, water bottle and a workout buddy to the class that suits your fitness goals. No bookings are required and it’s all free, so you know what that means – no excuses!!
