Target has implemented a nationwide recall of mislabelled Easter chocolates.
The NSW Food Authority has issued a warning over several Easter chocolates that have been available at Target and Target Country stores nationwide due to the potential presence of undeclared allergens including tree nuts and peanuts.

The recalled products include: Target Milk Chocolate Bunny 900g, 500g, 200g, 100g Target Dark Chocolate Bunny 100g Target White Chocolate Bunny 500g, 100g Target Milk Chocolate Duck 250g Klett Easter Cone Mixed Bag of Chocolates 400g Klett Milk Chocolate Sitting Bunny 150g.
The labels on the recalled products state it “may contain shell fruit” instead of “tree nuts and peanuts”. NSW Food Authority warns that consumers with allergies may have an allergic reaction to the products.
The recalled products have a best before date of 30 June 2016 and are packaged in clear cellophane or foil wrapping.
Consumers are encouraged to return the products to their nearest Target for a full refund.
