Not sure what’s on offer to fix your grin? The answer is only an app away.

Ethos Orthodontics’ ground-breaking SmileSeeker app has a few new features to help users self-diagnose.

Ethos Orthodontics’ ground-breaking SmileSeeker app has a few new features to help users self-diagnose. The new ‘My Progress’ feature allows users to take regular photos of their smile to create a time lapse video of how their grin has transformed.

There’s also a new ability to enter a countdown before important events like weddings to help analyse what treatments can be achieved during a specific time frame. Ethos managing director Marcus Tod says the app is an orthodontic breakthrough.

“It’s very accurate in deciding the level of treatment someone needs, which we can then confirm when they come in for the initial consultation,” says Tod. “And it takes a fun approach to confronting orthodontics fears and presenting some of the great new treatment options.”

This includes ‘Ethos lite’, short-term treatment for less complicated cases that delivers results in just six to nine months. All treatments are carried out by specialist orthodontists.

Ethos managing director Kent Farmer says the app is part of their mission to make orthodontics a positive experience.

“The app has both fun appeal and a serious role in helping people realise they can achieve their dream of a beautiful smile,” he says. “You may be surprised how affordable it is to get the real deal – and you should only trust a registered orthodontist who is trained for this sort of smile transformation. Just be aware of the pitfalls with express orthodontics.”

With a new Ethos practice opening in Toowong on 4 March, it’s easier than ever to perfect your smile.
