A free Brisbane information session is set to help you find relief from intolerances and allergies.

If we’re being honest, there is no greater joy that tucking into a delicious feast of fine food, but for many people what they eat is dictated by illness and intolerance rather than taste.

Many Australians suffer from food intolerance and associated autoimmune diseases and, unfortunately, the number of people suffering is progressively increasing. Australian children, for example, have the highest recorded rate of food allergies in the world. Experts are now warning us that these alarming statistics could be a precursor to a wave of chronic diseases.

A study by the Australian Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, involving 5,000 infants, has found that one in 10 has a food allergy. This is why Malouf Pharmacies have organised a free information session, to be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, with distinguished scientist Professor Cliff Hawkins. Professor Hawkins is the researcher and founder of the Biohawk Foundation – a Brisbane based organisation.
