Australia’s biggest garage sale event is rolling around on Saturday October 22, so we’ve trawled the Brisbane trail to help you clean up on the big day! If you’re in the market for a wardrobe overhaul, here’s our top ten picks for preloved clothing…

REDLANDS CENTRE FOR WOMEN GALA GARAGE SALE
Address: 27 Waterloo Street, Cleveland
Hours: 5:30am -12:30pm

They say the early bird gets the worm, but in this case if you roll out of bed and get to Cleveland by 5:30am, you could score a whole new wardrobe! The Redlands Centre for Women’s annual garage sale will be a gold mine for preloved clothing at bargain prices, and the best part is all funds raised go directly towards running costs of the centre.

BRISBANE MACGREGOR LIONS CLUB AND MT GRAVATT GIRL GUIDES GIGANTIC GARAGE SALE
Address: 21 Tryon Street, Mt Gravatt
Hours: 7am -1:30pm

I have a feeling this garage sale could be bigger than Ben Hur, given the Lions and Girl Guides have joined forces. They’ll be selling new and used clothing, accessories and footwear at a fraction of the recommended retail price, and let’s not forget about the infamous Girl Guides biscuits that might also be for sale on the day! Get. In. My. Belly!
