Japanese apparel retailer UNIQLO has announced they’ll be opening a new store on the Gold Coast.

The store is set to open its doors on Thursday 5 May at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in Broadbeach, bringing a taste of international fashion to Gold Coast residents.

The launch comes as part of the shopping centre’s $670 million redevelopment that commenced in January 2014.

UNIQLO’s Pacific Fair store will offer the full line-up of UNIQLO apparel for men, women, kids and babies – with garments designed to enhance the day-to-day lives of shoppers.

CEO of UNIQLO Australia, Shoichi Miyasaka believes the new Gold Coast store will be well received with local and international shoppers – providing a wider range of affordable clothing to locals.

“We are thrilled to bring UNIQLO to Gold Coast residents and for them to experience our product offering. We’ve seen a very positive response by Queenslanders to our range of clothing and accessories so far – and we’re confident that shoppers in Gold Coast will fall in love with the brand too.”

UNIQLO Pacific Fair follows the recent opening of UNIQLO’s Brisbane Queen Street store in March, a large-scale three-story development in the heart of Brisbane.

With the UNIQLO store at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre opening in December last year, the new Pacific Fair store marks the retailer’s third offering in Queensland, and the eleventh store nation-wide.

The retailer’s active expansion across the country marks its commitment to make affordable, functional and high quality clothing accessible to all Australians.

UNIQLO’s Gold Coast store will be located on Level 1 of Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Hooker Boulevard, Broadbeach.
