Budding designers and all your local favourites will be back for another year at the Finders Keepers Spring Summer Market on 7 & 8 November.
Held at the Old Museum in Bowen Hills, visitors will be spoilt for choice with around 100 stalls selling everything from fashion to ceramics and everything in between.
If unique buys are your thing, hand carved skateboards from Kippy Skateboards might take your fancy. Check out their retro styles and soft pastel colours.
Your wallet might be a little lighter after you set your sights on the Beneath The Sun collection by local designer Leah Bartholomew. Her handcrafted and environmentally friendly range includes homewares and stationary such as cushions and tea towels.
Tummies too will be satisfied with an array of food stall. Make sure you pick up some gourmet pizza or organic coffee to keep you going.
Organisers say Capi’s natural fruit sodas are a must try. Stop by Diego’s Dogs if you’re keen to try one of their signature hotdogs, while Allpress Coffee will keep the coffee flowing.
Every shopper needs to give their feet a rest so when its time, kick back on the lawns of the Old Museum and enjoy the live entertainment. If hubby’s had enough, leave him there while you pick up a few more pieces.
“We’re super-excited about the local designers and emerging artists who will be joining us for the Brisbane market,” says Sarah Thornton, co-director of Finders Keepers.
“Local makers are sure to interest shoppers with amazing products, and those new to the market will be in for an awesome treat.”
Entry is $2.
