Think rockabilly; think Johnny Cash. Now combine that with the closest shaves and the sharpest cuts for every modern gentleman in Brisbane.

Since its conception in 2010, Mods and Rockers Retro Barbershop has grown to become one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic barbershops, encapsulating all things ‘retro and psychedelic’.

This Friday, Mods and Rockers – owned and operated by Evolve Salons – officially opens its doors for the second time at a new location in Brisbane with free haircuts, live music and cold beers on offer for every customer throughout the day.

Situated within The Village Markets at Brisbane Airport’s DFO, Mods and Rockers operates without a reservation system – facilitating all impromptu trims, Elvis style-overs and close shaves.

Three retro and fully reclinable chairs are resident to the shop with cuts and shaves both marked at a competitive and flat rate of $30. Clients waiting for their time on the hot seat are invited to enjoy a complimentary beer, play a game of cards and completely absorb the refreshing and social demeanour of the shop.

With its official launch scheduled for this Friday 2 October, the resident barbers at Mods and Rockers are gearing up to showcase the sharpest cuts for all newcomers -completely free of charge. A gold coin donation will also be running on the day to raise money for Surf Life Saving Australia, whilst live music sets and complimentary beers promise to set an ideal atmosphere for patrons.

Mods and Rockers invites you to immerse yourself in the art of the shave and classic cut.
