International fashion retailer H&M has announced its third Brisbane store will be located at Westfield Garden City.

The announcement is ambitious, to say the least, considering they only opened their first Brisbane store today at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, but given how that’s gone over, it seems like a pretty safe bet.

The chain, known for selling ‘high fashion’ at relatively affordable prices, only entered the Australian market last year. There are currently three stores nationwide — Indooroopilly, Melbourne’s GPO and the Macquarie Centre in North Ryde, New South Wales.

H&M’s Brisbane CBD store is expected to open at 170 Queen Street later this year.

The Garden City store is expected to open in May; the exact date and location has not yet been announced.
