Iconic international fashion retailer H&M have spilled the beans on when their first Queensland store will open.

Hold onto your hats, fashion lovers, H&M are coming to town.

The international fashion retailer have announced their first Queensland store, to be located at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre,  will open on Thursday 5 March 2015.

Indooroopilly Shopping Centre Centre Manager Leah Mienert said this was the first time Brisbane shoppers would get to experience the brand.

“Their men’s, women’s and children’s ranges will strengthen the variety of fashion options already available at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and provide Queensland with access to this highly successful international brand for the first time,” she said. “H&M are known for large stores with extensive choice for all shoppers.

“They will open a 2,400 square metre store at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre which is a significant space. H&M will connect the southern end of the fashion malls on Level 2 between David Jones and Target.

“We are delighted that H&M chose Indooroopilly Shopping Centre to open its first Queensland store. It has joined a long list of retailers at the Centre which are putting Queensland at the forefront of retail shopping.”

In 2014 Indooroopilly Shopping Centre completed a major redevelopment and progressively unveiled new stores, many of which are not located anywhere else in Queensland or Australia. H&M complements the addition of other international retailers at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre including Armani Collezioni, Hugo Boss, Ted Baker and Max & Co.
