Immerse yourself in old Hollywood Glamour from the 1920s to the 1960s at Brisbane Museum.
For the first time, an extensive collection of rare and exquisite costumes from the golden age of Hollywood will be exhibited in Brisbane.
The costumes, of which were obtained by Brisbane Lawyer Nicholas Inglis, include unique couture worn by the likes of Grace Kelly, Julie Andrews and Fred Astaire.
Mr Inglis started his collection in 1995 and now boasts over 300 costumes, or “works of art”, created and displayed to be enjoyed.
These impeccably restored costumes graced the silver screens during the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s, and exude classic Hollywood Glamour and style.
Other notable names amongst the collection to look out for are Marlon Brando, Judy Garland, Elizabeth Taylor, Lana Turner and Barbra Streisand.
The exhibition will launch this November and finish up in May.
