Hundreds of style lovers have lined up to be the first through the doors of Australia’s first Forever 21 store in Brisbane today.
Today Brisbane became home to Australia’s first ever Forever 21 store, and the scores of fahsionistas who lined Queen Street Mall were there to welcome it with open arms.
Situated at 66 Queen Street , right under Brisbane’s swanky new NEXT hotel, the expansive two level 1900 square metre store stocks women’s, men’s, kid’s and plus size clothing. The focus is on affordable LA fashion which will be delivered to the store daily. Los Angeles based fashion blogger Alli Simpson was on hand to cut the ribbon and officially open the store before the hoards rushed in.
Since it’s opening Forever 21 has become a retail giant with over 600 stores worldwide including US, Bahrain, Canada, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Europe, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Oman, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and now Australia.
Brisbane shoppers were the first in the country to have access to the label’s summer collection, which carries an array of colorful printed and patterned pieces with a fun boho feel.
