A Brisbane school has gathered up Brisbane’s top designers for a special showcase.
Up-and-coming Brisbane designer Jayee Ying is set to debut her bespoke couture and Elicitee ready to wear collections at St Finbarr’s School’s annual fundraiser, Fashions on Parade.
After studying at the prestigious Italian design Institute Polimoda, mastering the quintessence of European luxury and Italian bespoke couture, Jayee aims to create one-off garments that emphasise femininity through draping, body sculpturing and sophistication. The designs feature a timeless style and refined craftsmanship.
The wow factor at the event continues with Maocchi, who will be hot off the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane runway with their Kiss and Tell Spring Collection. This collection will show alongside the ever popular brands Mood, Living Silk and Petrol, South Banks Denim Co and resort favourite Bella Lido. Headline boutique Scotch & Soda will showcase a range of menswear that will keep any sartorial gentleman happy.
The younger fashionistas will not miss out with outfits supplied by Mama’s Home and Cocoon Petite.
In addition to the fashion glimpses, lucky door prizes, raffles, fabulous silent auctions and the chance to be crowned Best Dressed, there will also be an array of market stalls. The Fashions on Parade is an event not to be missed. This year St Finbarr’s is proud to announce that $5 from every ticket sold will go to Mummy’s Wish, a charity that assists mothers affected by cancer.
