Fashion and make-up can reflect the chilly season, writes Laura Stead-Churchill.
On a cold winter’s morning, that feeling of stepping into something warm and cosy brings comfort. Brushed cottons and soft knits provide a barrier against the wind, but don’t fall into the trap of sacrificing style for comfort.
In the cooler months, warmer colours are your cosy, go-to style saviour. If you normally wear brights and don’t suit black and grey, look to red and navy as alternatives.
Texture and detail are key to bringing your winter layers to life.
