So many designers, so many clothes. Find out what the Teneriffe Festival has in store for you.

Listen up, Fashionistas.

For the first time in its five year history the Teneriffe Festival will have a dedicated all day fashion precinct as part of its program. The event is set to feature seven runways and will highlight new fashion trends, showcase unique emerging designers and renowned boutiques, explore the history of  beach culture and touch on the importance of sustainability and primary industries in the fashion realm.

The Emerge Australia Fashion Precinct will also include pop-up shops, pamper stations and styling workshops.

The Teneriffe Festival saw more than 50,000 guests through its gates last year and is Queensland’s biggest cultural festival, celebrating the suburb’s rich history and lifestyle appeal. The 2014 festival promises to be a colourful mix of old and new, surrounded by the charming historical Woolstores on the banks of the Brisbane River.

The Teneriffe Festival will be held on Saturday 5 July and is a full day event in and around the suburb’s riverside streets, commencing at 9am and offering a full day of music, food, children’s entertainment and multicultural events until 9pm.The festival stretches along Vernon Terrace from Florence Street to Commercial Road and incorporates road and laneway closures on Ethel and Dath Street in Teneriffe.
