While the temptation for black and greys comes with the change of season, adding a splash of colour can keep you looking and feeling more vibrant in the cold.
Australian jewellery and accessories label Ruby Olive has winter accessory colour sewn up with its new range, Market Bazaar.
Designer Skye Anderton was inspired to create the collection following her experiences travelling in Morocco and Turkey.
“The souks and bazaars in Marrakech and Istanbul were just a party for the senses,” she says.
“I couldn’t get over the buzz of being amongst the hustle and bustle; everywhere you looked was an absolute feast of rich colours, beautiful products and exotic scents.”
Inspired by the honeycomb of alleyways filled with a dizzying array of market stalls, ranging from the smallest kiosks to seemingly endless Aladdin’s caves of glittering goodies, the Market Bazaar collection will be available from the end of May and is the latest range from the latest range from the Brisbane-based designer.
The colourful collection is in line with the label’s philosophy of affordable, distinctive and fun pieces that inspire confidence and inject shots of joyful energy into whoever wears them.
“We celebrate traditional skills and artisan craftsmanship, making it our mission to create sustainable products with a beautiful conscience and an ethical heart,” says Anderton.
The Market Bazaar collection features an array of unique resin and sustainably sourced carved wooden beads with shapes inspired by Moroccan lanterns and colours inspired by the local cuisine, with shades of black pepper, cumin, turmeric, chilli, turquoise and lime.
