Brisbane designer Deanne Mayocchi knows the transformative power of a fabulous dress and this season takes her customers over the moon with a night fair inspired collection.

The winter 2014 collection, entitled Fly me to the Moon has drawn inspiration from a moonlight fair and designer, Deanne Mayocchi has set the scene for her perfectly pretty dresses under a star studded sky with a carousel, paper dolls, fireworks and a ride in a hot air balloon.

Custom prints are playful and charming and have been given the star treatment with spots and stripes add a dash of fun and cotton laces with peekaboo coloured linings are perfect for dazzling nights under the stars. Hand-dyed vintage lace trims and natty little brooches provide unexpected detailing.

The Maiocchi woman loves ladylike and flattering frocks and this collection doesn’t disappoint. There are retro silhouettes with a contemporary twist, boxy little jackets and peter pan collars. The colour palette for the season is muted for winter but with a bright spark of colour. This colourful collection features midnight, mustard, teal, gherkin and raspberry with a hint of gold.

“Our customers have come to expect flattering shapes from Maiocchi,” says designer Deanne Mayocchi.

“This season I have placed particular importance on fit and creating fetching silhouettes through the use of cleverly
designed prints, twists and pleats. The frocks are sure to flatter every curve.”

The Fly me to the Moon collection is available from and selected boutiques.
