You no longer need to fear the blazing guns at your next business meeting thanks to Canadian tailors Garrison Bespoke.
007‘s job just got a whole lot easier – looking suave and being bulletproof are no longer mutually exclusive, thanks to Garrison Bespoke’s new dual purpose suit.
In response to conversations with clients who travelled to dangerous, war-torn places but were required to forgo the heavy body armour to look professional in a suit, Garrison Bespoke has used nanotechnology currently used in US troops’ uniforms in Iraq to create a thinner, more flexible bulletproof suit material.
The company website says that “…the idea was to create a stylish and discreet alternative to wearing a bulky bullet proof vest underneath a suit. This way, our clients wouldn’t have to worry about looking awkward during meetings and they can travel to work feeling comfortable, safe and confident.”
The three-piece custom suit retails for about $20,000 and there is already a waiting list. 50 percent lighter than Kevlar (the material usually used in bulletproofing), the suit contains nanotubes in the fabric that harden to block penetrating forces like a bullet or knife.
Pair it with this homemade Batmobile and you’re well on your way to becoming a real superhero!
