Peugeot’s new 208 5-door has had a makeover – making it even sportier and more elegant than before.
From its look to its technology and performance, the new 208 has been overhauled to really stand out from the crowd – and it does.
From the outside, the 208 has a striking new look with a new front bumper, a wide fully integrated grille, new two-tone headlamps and a restyled front fog lamp. The cars range of colours and paint finishes have also expanded with several brand new colours on offer.
At the rear, red 3D LEDs have been installed to incorporate Peugeot’s iconic lion claw motif.
The car has also been fitted with new 16” alloy wheels with the option to personalise them.
On the inside the 208 looks and feels like a cockpit – a stylish and comfortable one. It features a compact leather trimmed steering wheel and comfy seating, a panoramic glass roof and incredible technology.
Tech-heads get ready to be impressed – the 208 has a multi-function colour touch screen with audio, communications and navigation control. It also has new equipment to make driving in urban areas easier with safety and assistance features like park assist, electronic stability control, a reversing camera and cruise control with a speed limiter.
Don’t worry, rev-heads, Peugeot hasn’t forgotten about you! The 208 offers a choice of two PureTech 3-cyclinder petrol engines, both of which meet the strict Euro 6 emissions standards.
Peugeot’s Turbo PureTech engine was actually awarded International Engine of the Year Award in the 1 litre to 1.4 litre category. Delivering a combined fuel consumption of 4.5l/100km and CO2 emissions of just 104g/km – it’s no wonder why.
The punchy little 208 also has an 81kilowatt turbo engine with stop and start technology, coupled with a new generation 6 speed automatic gearbox for an exhilarating performance.
