This house is not for the faint of heart.
When it comes to a luxury home feature that most of us lust after, you can’t go past ocean views. Being able to wake up, look outside, and see the expanse of sand and water in front of you, seconds from your front door.
Now, two Greek architects have taken that idea to another level.
Called ‘Casa Brutale’, the concrete structure is known as brutalism, and is a luxury home embedded in a cliff, creating a beautiful but rather extreme view of the crashing ocean below that evokes many a nightmare of impending thunderstorms.
Architects Laertis Antonios Ando Vassiliou and Pantelis Kampouropoulos, who formed OPA Works together, envisioned the house as a “poetic homage to pure Brutalism.” The roof-top pool (at ground level) and underground walls help insulate the building and keep it cool.

I didn’t enjoy the article. The house is very unappealing & quite ugly. Much prefer the open design Queensland home. A verandah around the whole house with French Doors that open in every room.
I like it,and imagine how safe it’ll be compared to a house plonked on the cliff edge in bad wether. All it needs is a room over the pool for year round use and a big garage.
A cell with a view, suitable for Count Monte Cristo?
