Santa has taken a relaxation holiday in Queensland to enjoy the sun, surf and sand before his busiest night of the year.
You better watch out , you better not cry, you better not pout I’m telling you why, Santa Claus is here in Queensland !
The big man in red has been enjoying all our amazing beaches have to offer before he flies around the globe delivering presents to millions of children and families. I say Santa deserves some relaxation and the sparkling beaches on the Gold Coast are the perfect spot to catch some waves.
“When it’s dark and cold at home, the best place to be is Queensland. This place sparkles brighter than the tinsel on a Christmas tree … and it’s all natural,” a re-energised and board-short-clad Santa said.
Santa even had a go at surfing lessons and according to his instructor Lachlan Ellwood from Get Wet Surf School he was a fast learner thanks to his sleigh riding skills.
“I reckon it’s down to the fact that he rides that sleigh all night and he gets fairly good balance from that,” Lachlan said.
After his Gold Coast adventure, Santa traveled North to the Great Barrier Reef and helmet dived with some amazing marine life. Then he zoomed around Hamilton Island on Jetryder before playing a relaxing round of golf on Dent Island, Australia’s only island golf course located in The Whitsundays.
Santa then spoiled himself with a large smorgasboard lunch to fill his jiggling belly. The Hamilton Yacht Club was more than happy to feed Santa until he was well and truly full with Australia’s finest seafood including a giant Mud Crab Claw. Following his delightful lunch Santa cuddled up to a cute Koala at the Hamilton Island Wildlife Park.
Santa certainly enjoyed his holiday here in Queensland and we hope he is rested for his big night of deliveries on Christmas Eve.
