Heading away on a holiday? Check out our list of must-have travel apps to help you cope with what is more often than not a stressful activity!

Wandering aimlessly through the streets of Venice, sweating buckets and dragging suitcases trying to find our hotel; running frantically through the airport to our gate after our flight time was changed; missing our flight home from New Zealand after daylight savings time kicked in unbeknownst to us and we missed our check-in time – travelling has never been smooth sailing for me, but maybe things would’ve gone a little better with the help of technology.

Don’t make the same mistakes I have – download these apps before you take a trip anywhere and you’ll never forget your toothbrush, never miss a flight and always be able to book a backup hotel with the click of a button.

Avoid this altogether with this clever app – find the UV level and sun protection times for your local area, personalise the sun protection alert to remind you to reapply sunscreen when the UV reaches damaging levels, and use the vitamin D tracker to find out if you’re getting enough of the sunshine vitamin. Then relax and enjoy…
