Lookin’ good, Queensland.
We know the Great Barrier Reef is an incredible sight to behold in person — but what does it look like from space?
Well, NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren has answered that question by tweeting these spectacular photos.
Lindgren, part of a team spending a year on the International Space Station, tweeted images including a collection of coral rays at the southern end of the reef, and a section of the north Queensland coast near Cooktown and Hope Vale.
The images were tagged as part of Lindgren’s #StoryOfWater photo series.
