RSPCA’s Christmas in July markets are back and bigger than ever.
Held on Sunday 17 July at RSPCA’s Wacol Animal Care Campus, the family-friendly event will feature an array of market stalls, kids entertainment and live music.
From 8am to 12pm, enjoy browsing through stalls filled with bits and bobs, pet products and more.
At 9am and 11am, there will be educational talks on looking after your pet and a reptile meet and greet with some of the scaly residents at RSPCA – who are actually looking for homes!
You’ll also get to meet some of the gorgeous animals at RSPCA up for adoption. Beware, though, you might fall in love.
You can’t have Christmas in July without a visit from Santa and his elves, so kids will be able to meet Santa and his little buddies and get a few pics!
RSPCA Queensland is the state’s oldest and largest animal welfare charity, and requires $42 million annually to support animal centres, programs and services. If you’d like to help, you can speak to someone during the event about donating, volunteering or adopting an animal.
Whilst this is a pet friendly event, RSPCA do not encourage market goers to bring their personal pets along on the day. If you do, you will not be able to access all areas of the event. Leave your pets at home — after all, there will be plenty of animals at the event waiting for your attention!
