The RSPCA will join forces with local rescue groups to help find loving homes for of over 150 cats and dogs at the Brisbane Showground on Saturday 19 September.

RSPCA Qld spokesperson Michael Beatty said it’s the best place to start if you’ve ever considered adopting a pet.

“This will be the largest variety of dogs and cats in one place at one time.”

“At the Big Adopt Out you’ll get the very best information from people who understand the breeds and their needs,” he said.

Many of the pets will be ready to go home on the day but some families will need to pass a property check depending on the animals’ needs etc.

“Rescue groups are so important when it comes to dogs that need one on one attention,” Mr Beatty said.

“They can give individual care and training until the dog is ready to be adopted.”

Prices will vary from $150 right up to $1200. Every animal will be microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, and their flea and worm treatments up to date.
