Paws up if you like good food and wine! Guide Dogs Queensland is inviting food and wine lovers to sample their new fundraising wine range at a charity lunch event.

The Good Paw Wine Luncheon will be held at Cloudland on Wednesday 8 October; the lunch will double as the launch for the charity’s new First Paw wines, a fundraising initiative intended to raise thousands of dollars to train future generations of guide dogs.

Sadly, the First Paw range is not actually made by guide dogs, but by the folks at Trentham Estate Wines. The range includes the complete basic set of Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz and Chardonnay Pinot Noir BRUT, and is designed to provide quality wine at an affordable price.

“This wine luncheon really is a great opportunity to gather socially with some of Brisbane’s best corporate and individual supporters and thank them for making a difference in the lives of so many Queenslanders,” says Guide Dogs Queensland CEO Chris Laine.

“We’ll also be featuring the launch of our new First Paw wine range, which we hope will make its mark with restaurants, clubs and cafes looking for good quality first pour wines for their guests.

“I’d like to invite everyone to come along to our luncheon and have a great time while showing your support for Guide Dogs Queensland.”

All proceeds from the launch event and future wine sales will go towards the breeding and training of Guide Dogs.
