We’ve compiled a list of Brisbane’s best dog parks for you and your furry friend.

Whether it be beach front, an open space perfect for running or an agility park, we’ve got it covered!

Tuckeroo Park

Dog owners call Tuckeroo an ‘adventure park’. There is a ‘Doggy World’ obstacle course and access to the beach so your dog can cool down.

There are picnic facilities, water bubblers and taps and bins. If you wish to walk your dog outside of the fenced area, it must be on a leash.

Where: Nudgee Road, Nudgee Beach 4014

Green Hill Reservoir Dog Park

This dog park has fantastic city views!

It is centred around the 1968 water reservoir and while the dogs play, owners can admire the views from atop the reservoir staircase.

Dogs can freely explore the area surrounding the reservoir, however the owners should be mindful of nearby roads and the risks of ticks!

If you and your pooch want some more exercise, just nearby there is the Lookout Trail — an on-leash bush walk that will take you to the Mt Cootha summit.

Where: Russell Terrace, Chapel Hill

Colmslie Recreation Reserve

This off-leash dog park has fun for the whole family!

For dogs, there is agility equipment, a large grass area and access to a beach so they can dip their paws in.

There is also a playground, BBQ areas and picnic shelters for the rest of the family.

Where: Lytton Road, Morningside

Powerhouse Dog Park

As the name suggests, this park is located beside the Powerhouse.

Dog owners are able to grab a coffee from nearby cafes and watch their dogs frolic in the grass.

There is no agility equipment at this park but it is fenced and is on the river bank. Trees in the park offer a lot of shade and there is a playground nearby for kids.

Kedron Brook Dog Off-Leash Area

This parks runs alongside the Kedron Brook from Gordon Park to Lutwyche Road. Dogs can really stretch their legs in this park!

Along the Brook there are water taps and doggy bins at regular intervals. There are also a couple of BBQs and picnic areas as well.

Dogs are free to swim in the Brook to cool off. The Kedron Brook area is one of the few parks in Brisbane that provides such a long stretch of land for dogs to run freely.
