Desperate times are calling for desperate measures at Queensland RSPCA centres.
If you’re looking for a new pet to welcome into your home then, the RSPCA is the place to find one.
Unfortunately things are getting a bit desperate at the RSPCA of late, with all centres reaching capacity.
This weekend, from 28 June to 29 June, RSPCA QLD are having a 25 to 75 per cent off everything sale.Best of all the discounts are not just valid on the animals themselves, but at the op shops, Pet Super Stores and the online store.
“We want it to be a fun weekend where you can find a bargain and hopefully a loving new family member as well,”said RSPCA QLD spokesperson Michael Beatty. “After all RSPCA animals really DO make the best pets.”
All RSPCA staff are getting into the spirit of the occasion, with a sausage sizzle and red colour theme set to brighten up the shelters.
RSPCA volunteers are hoping these discounts will encourage families all over Queensland to accept a furry (or feathered, or scaly…) friend into their homes and contribute to the re-homing of these orphaned animals.
