Patients at Brisbane’s Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital got the surprise of a lifetime this week, when Taylor Swift popped in for a bit of a visit.

The star, who is currently holidaying in Queensland with her new beau Tom Hiddleston, stopped by the hospital yesterday afternoon to visit some of its patients.

One of those very deserving patients was 13-year-old Sunshine Coast girl, Bella Harry, who has bone cancer.

Bella was in hospital for a blood transplant at the time and was just about to record an invitation on camera to invite her favourite singer, Taylor Swift to the hospital before she was surprised by the star.

She put all the pairs pics up on her facebook page, Benefit4Bella.

The pair spent 20 minutes chatting and taking selfies. Taylor Swift signed Bella’s favourite Shake it Off pillow before saying goodbye.

Naomi Tolley, whose daughter is a patient of the hospital, posted a picture on Lady Cilento’s Facebook page after Taylor’s visit.

“My eldest daughter has had her ultimate dream come true tonight & I can’t say thankyou enough for giving my kids the amazing experience tonight of meeting the beautiful Taylor Swift,” Naomi wrote.

Caroline Chiu also posted a pic on the page, showing Tay Tay holding her cute little son Elliot.

The caption read “Eliot was super happy to meet Taylor and drool all over her!”

Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital thanked Taylor via their Facebook page once the star left.

“Thank you Taylor Swift for dropping by the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital this afternoon to give our patients and families a special surprise they’ll never forget,” the hospital wrote on Facebook.

“They’ll never ‘shake off’ the memories you made tonight.”

It’s all in a day’s work for Taylor, who made headlines last time she was in Australia when she took the time to meet a Queensland girl living with cystic fibrosis.
