The Wiggles are celebrating their 25th birthday with a brand new show, Dance, Dance! The Wiggles’ Big Show!

Blue Wiggle Anthony Field says this will be the group’s “danciest and fanciest show ever!”

Anthony, Emma, Lachy and Simon will play everyone’s favourite hits as well as new Wiggles songs like Hot Potato, Rock-a-Bye Your Bear, Do The Propeller! and Come On Down To Wiggle Town! with their Wiggly friends, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword.

The tour announcement marks the culmination of a big year for The Wiggles, who have already sold out 215 shows this year, performing to over 120,000 fans across Australia.

They also signed a deal with Netflix, ensuring The Wiggles will be broadcast in over 190 countries around the world.

Of course, the biggest moment for the group came when Emma and Lachy were married in an idyllic south coast location. Anthony played bagpipes as Emma walked down the aisle, and then joined Simon as one of the groomsmen for this tear-filled, joyous occasion.

“It’s been a continual wedding celebration as we’ve toured, with children giving us wedding presents, making us cards and wearing wedding veils,” Emma says. “It’s been so sweet!”

Over the last 25 years, The Wiggles have become a family tradition. Since they dropped their self-titled debut album in 1991, they’ve sold 23 million DVDs, seven million albums and eight million books, won 12 ARIA awards, and have performed to millions of fans around the world.

“Children who once came to see The Wiggles are now bringing their children to see The Wiggles shows,” Simon says.

In coming months, The Wiggles will tour the US, Canada and New Zealand, but then it’s back to Australia for the Dance, Dance! The Wiggles’ Big Show tour.

The Wiggles will play Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday 10 December at 10am and 1pm. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Wednesday 22 June; they’re expected to sell like hot potatoes, so head to to grab yours.
