Everything is awesome! Australia’s first LEGO-certified store is coming to the Gold Coast.
Financial Review reports that the LEGO store will open at Ardent Leisure’s Dreamworld theme park later this year.
It’s part of a new partnership agreement with Ardent Leisure and The LEGO Group, and will be the largest retail outlet at Dreamworld.
“LEGO is one of the best known, most successful and powerful global brands and we are delighted to partner with LEGO as we continue our strategy to invest in unique experiences at Dreamworld,” said Ardent CEO Deborah Thomas.
The store will reportedly cover an area of 350 square metres, and form part of a stand-alone precinct located at the front of the park.
Dreamworld chief executive Craig Davidson said the new LEGO store would be a “destination in its own right”, and will stock exclusive LEGO products and host special LEGO events.
Australia’s first LEGO-certified store will open at Dreamworld later this year; an opening date has yet to be announced.
