Enjoy a special big-screen debut of Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie at Event Cinemas this December, a month before the film is officially released!
Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the Peanuts gang will make an advance big-screen debut on Sunday 6 December at 50 selected Event Cinemas and BCC Cinemas nationwide to help raise funds for Children’s Hospitals around Australia.
The event was put together by cinema distributor 20th Century Fox, hospitality and entertainment giant Amalgamated Holdings Limited (AHL), and key children’s hospital around the country.
AHL’s managing director David Seargeant says “it is hard to find a family around Australia that hasn’t been impacted – either directly or through friends or relatives — by kids needing hospital care which is one of the reasons we’re so delighted to partner with 20th Century Fox to support the invaluable service provided by our partner children’s hospitals around the country”.
The proceeds from every ticket sold will be donated directly to children’s hospitals to enhance the treatment and care of sick children around Australia.
The film won’t officially start screening in Australian cinemas until 1 January 2016.
The film will screen at almost 20 cinemas in South-East Queensland, including Event Cinemas Myer Centre. Tickets for the advance charity screening will cost $10 each and can be purchased online here (scroll down to the ‘Select Cinema’ tab to pick your cinema) or at cinema box offices.
