One of Brisbane’s favourite fried chicken joints is opening in West End.
Having built a loyal following since it first hatched at The Brightside in Fortitude Valley two years ago, the Lucky Egg empire will expand to West End next month.
Owner Jacob Knauth says Lucky Egg’s extra-large West End kitchen will pump out favourites like their gingery Karaage and Buffalo Crispy Burger, as well as new items like spicy noodle bowls, crunchy aromatic fried chicken share plates, and light options for those still staunchly sticking to their New Year’s resolutions.
The new store will open at the newly refurbished Good Time Bar on Boundary Street, which boasts revamped interiors, furniture, additional taps, craft beer, cocktail offerings, and now, Lucky Egg.
The pairing of Good Time and Lucky Egg will make for the perfect spot for a takeaway lunch or knock-off beers and burgs — and with Max Watt’s House of Music located just around the corner, they’ve got your pre-show drinks and dinner sorted, too.
Lucky Egg is expected to open at the revamped Good Time Bar (123 Boundary Street, West End) in early July.
