The roving food truck party is headed to Logan Village with mouth-watering meals, live tunes and good times.
Eats & Beats has been picking up momentum ever since it debuted two years ago, with each event attracting crowds of between 5,000 and 8,000 people.
The free event isn’t confined to one space — instead, it roams around the City of Logan, so all residents get to experience a wide selection of food and quality live entertainment close to home.
This year, they’ve made a point of branching out to new locations like Logan Village, to ensure people in the more rural sections of the community aren’t missing out.
Each event offers a wide variety of delicious eats from your favourite food trucks, including Tender Calamari, Minus 32 ice cream and the king of the kids, Potato Twisters.
Whether you’re craving Spanish, Greek, Italian, Filipino, German, Japanese or Jamaican cuisine, you’ll find your flavour at Eats & Beats.
They’ve got all the juicy barbecued meats you can handle, but if that’s not your thing, there are plenty of tasty vegetarian and gluten-free options, too!
Every Eats & Beats event features live music from popular performers and talented local artists, and this instalment is no exception, with one man band Juzzie Smith as well as the most authentic Calypsians this side of the Caribbean Sea, Jahbutu.
The event even has its own Snapchat filters, so you can share some of the fun with friends who can’t make it!
Eats & Beats will be held at Village Green (Logan Street, Logan Village) on Friday 30 June. For more info and event updates, visit facebook.com/eatsandbeatslogan.
