Grill’d is literally pulling a rabbit out of its hat for Easter.

The burger chain is adding The Bunny Burger to its Easter menu — that’s a rabbit pattie, blended with pork belly and duck fat, on a seeded panini bun, topped with roasted carrot puree, baby cos, pickled onion and carrots, sprinkled with smoked sea salt, whole grain mustard mayo and torn fresh basil.

The rabbits have been ethically sourced from the Australian-owned Alpine Game Meat and Macleay Valley Rabbits, and are said to be of the highest quality.

The Bunny Burger will only be available at one Grill’d location in Queensland — the Wintergarden (171-209 Queen Street, Brisbane City) — from today until Easter Sunday (or until the rabbits run out).

Run, rabbit, run…
