I scream, you scream, we all scream for the Brisbane Ice Cream Festival.
Brisbane is getting its first festival dedicated entirely to ice cream, and it’s going to melt hearts.
Appropriately enough, the festival — presented by the West Village precinct — will take over West End’s historic Peters Ice Cream Factory on Boundary Street for a day out dedicated to ice cream, gelato, popsicles and everything in between.
The festival will feature pop-up stalls from Brisbane’s dessert masters, as well as live music.
There’ll also be a pop-up bar slinging boozy frozen treats.
The line-up includes:
Cocowhip (vegan soft serve)
Queen of Pops
The Doughnut Bar
Ruby the Little Red Ice Cream Van
Frozen Sunshine Iceblocks
Hett’s n Ice Shaved Ice
J’adore Les Crepes
A new venture from the team behind Red Hook is also expected to feature at the festival. Colour us intrigued.
The Brisbane Ice Cream Festival will be held at the Peters Ice Cream Factory (Boundary Street, West End) on Saturday 11 March from 11am to 5pm. Entry is free! For more info, visit the event page.
