All your finger lickin’ dreams are coming true in Paddington.

A dedicated fried chicken eatery has landed in Paddington, serving up every style of chicken you can think of, cooked the Nashville way.

Winner Winner is the brainchild of owner-operators Luke Stringer and Ashleigh Bates (formerly of the Olé Group), who have bonded over their mutual love of fried bird.

“The fried chicken movement doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon,” Stringer says.

“People want fresh and delicious fried chicken and we’re excited to be doing it our own unique way in Paddington. We’ve done a lot of research and eaten a lot of chicken and we know we are onto a winner!”

Residing on Given Terrace, the fully licensed venue takes up the space formerly occupied by Ruby Café.

Stringer and Bates like it hot, and Winner Winner’s chicken isn’t for the fainthearted. Their chicken dishes come in three heats — original (some heat), medium (spicy) and hot (HOT).

You’ll be able to order chicken tenders, chicken wings, chicken burgers, chicken drumsticks and the whole bird, or a combination of all of those served with sides like curly fries, zesty slaw and ‘porn corn’, and sauces like the patented Winner Winner special sauce, mayo, garlic aioli, blue cheese aioli, tomato sauce and zesty slaw sauce.

There’s one (count ’em, one) dessert on the menu — an old school sundae made of vanilla wafers, crushed peanuts and whipped Chantilly cream, topped with a glace cherry.

Winner Winner is now open — you’ll find it at 233A Given Terrace, Paddington. It’s open seven days (5pm-late Monday-Tuesday, 11am-late Wednesday-Friday, 10am-late Saturday-Sunday) and no bookings are needed. A delivery option will launch in a few weeks time.
