Miss Kay’s serves up some of the best burgers in Brisbane. Now they’re expanding out from the CBD and into the suburbs.

The brainchild of Justin Kong and Matt Lee, Miss Kay’s in the City serves up the kind of delicious burgers that you’d usually only find at the idealised American diner of your dreams.

As well as their signature burgers like the Ludakrisp (crispy fried chicken, house slaw, pickle, sweet BBQ sauce and mayo), MK Special (beef patty, maple bacon, onion rings, American cheese, lettuce, pickle, mayo and sweet BBQ sauce) and Mac Daddy (beef patty, mac ‘n’ cheese, American cheese, lettuce, sweet BBQ sauce, mayo and fries), they also offer crispy fried Buffalo wings and their famous dirty fries with Miss Kay’s seasoning, cheese sauce and tomato chilli.

They’ve also got a killer range of milkshakes, including The Puff Daddy (a salty caramel flavoured shake topped with salty caramel popcorn) and The Elvis (a peanut butter flavoured shake topped with crushed peanuts and Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups).

In other words, it’s probably not where you want to go if you’re trying to cut down on the calories you consume, but if you want to be bad, it’s very, very good.

Well, if you’re sick of the bulk of Brisbane’s best burgers being located in or around the inner city, you’re in luck.

Miss Kay’s is coming to Mitchelton.

The new Miss Kay’s will open on 40 Blackwood Street next Wednesday 21 September, with the same menu as the CBD outlet, and a large outdoor beer garden.

They’ll be having a Free Cheeseburger Day to celebrate the opening — but the timing of that promotion, and the opening hours of the new venue, have yet to be announced.

Stay tuned for more info!
