Following a successful launch in June, culinary event Bite Sip Stroll will return to Brisbane on Saturday 17 September with a fresh Spring menu.

The brainchild of locals Ben Daly, Carly Griffin and Maddy Magi-Proswe, the Bite Sip Stroll concept was inspired by the dining culture of Europe, where you can have a bite here, a glass of wine there, and stroll between venues, taking in the city.

Throughout the course of an afternoon, guests will stroll along Brisbane’s scenic waterfront, visiting four handpicked restaurants — Esquire, Restaurant Two, Sake and Urbane.

At each venue, guests will dine on a unique dish designed by the head chefs, matched with wine by experts from the Wine Selectors Tasting Panel, who will also be on hand to talk about all things wine with diners.

Ben Daly says the feedback from the first event in June was extremely positive.

“We were truly overwhelmed by the success of our first event in Brisbane, which sold out weeks in advance,” he says.

“We’d hoped our first event would pave the way for future Bite Sip Strolls in Brisbane and across the country, so we’re thrilled to be launching our second chapter in September. We’re also planning events in Sydney and Perth, to be announced shortly.

“The idea behind the Bite Sip Stroll concept is to craft premium dining adventures that delight guests with quality, value and restaurant variety — exploring and celebrating some of our most interesting culinary hubs. We wanted to create a single, yet varied dining experience in some of the country’s top restaurants.”

Bite Sip Stroll will be held on Saturday 17 September from 12 noon. Tickets cost $119 and are on sale now at
