Rib lovers and burger fans, take note — Brisbane’s second Ribs & Burgers will open at Woolloongabba this Thursday 16 June.

The doors will open at 11am, and the first 100 people in line will win free burgers for a year!

With those free burgers on offer, the line-up is expected to be frenzied. To manage that line, the Ribs & Burgers crew have called in a couple of local celebs — House Rules stars and Queensland country boys Luke and Cody Cook. Luke and Cody will be welcoming the first diners through the door and even getting their hands dirty in the kitchen.

Players from the Brisbane Lions will also be in attendance from noon, sitting down for lunch at a long shared table.

Known for their secret sauces, family recipes and eight-hour slow-cooked ribs, Ribs & Burgers opened their first Brisbane store in James Street in May 2014.

Now, they’re setting up shop in Pellioano’s $85 million mixed-use residential tower, Trafalgar Lane in Woolloongabba.

All the meats at Ribs & Burgers are free range, grass fed, antibiotic-free and steroid-free and cut to order. The grilling process is unique to the restaurant and the recipes and techniques used have been passed down through the family.

Both the meat and the décor is inspired by the traditional butcher shop, infused with nostalgia and globally sourced vintage elements.

Ribs & Burgers will open at Trafalgar Lane (Shop 7, 855 Stanley Street) at 11am this Thursday. It’ll be open from 11am to 9:30pm from Sunday to Thursday, and 11am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
