A family friendly laneway festival with special foodie deals, pop-up bars, live music and kid’s entertainment will come to Westfield North Lakes this month.
The festival will take place in the new Laneway dining precinct, which opened late last year as part of Westfield North Lakes’ $80 million redevelopment.
The Laneway Weekender will serve up a variety of one-weekend-only food and drink deals, showcasing pairings and offers from the likes of Grill’d, Schnitz, Guzman Y Gomez, North Lakes Tavern, Movenpick and San Churro.
From tasty burgers and spicy burritos to crispy, golden Spanish churros, melting hot chocolates and delicious ice cream, event organisers say there’ll be something to satisfy all kinds of foodie cravings.
Festival goers will be able to wander through the open air laneway and wash down their meals with a refreshing beverage from a number of pop-up bars in the Laneway precinct, ranging from craft beers and wines to cocktails.
The Laneway Weekender will be held at Westfield North Lakes (Anzac Ave & North Lakes Drive, North Lakes) from 4pm to 8pm on Friday 24 June, and midday to 8pm on Saturday 25 June and Sunday 26 June. Entry is free and all ages are welcome.
