The Gold Coast is kicking off its own signature food and wine festival this June, with an array of foodie experiences for everyone to enjoy.

Held from Friday 3 to Saturday 25 June at NightQuarter in Helensvale, the Gold Coast Food and Wine Festival will celebrate the quality and variety of eating experiences on the Gold Coast.

The festival — which is set to be an annual event — will offer foodies gastronomic experiences, degustations, cooking demonstrations, workshops, cocktail making classes, wine and beer appreciation, a pop-up Sirromet wine lounge, and signature dining experiences.

The festival will not only showcase what the Gold Coast can do with food, but it will also elevate the eating experience for festival goers through a focus on the theatre and art of food.

With performance art, sensory experiences and musical performances incorporated throughout, the festival will pay tribute to the Gold Coast as one of Australia’s premier destinations for entertainment.

The festival’s launch event is set to take place in the NightQuarter VIP space on Friday 3 June and will feature exclusive creative canapés from local Executive Chefs with commentaries on the inspiration of the canapés and the provenance of the produce used.

The event will see a collaboration with Executive Chefs from across the Gold Coast, including Greg Benney from QT Hotel and Victor Marmysz from Restaurant Lurleens at Sirromet Winery.

During the festival, a diverse program of food events will be held every Friday and Saturday night in June from 4pm to 10pm.
