Amy and Michael Bates, founders of popular New Farm café Pablo, have secured a prime tenancy at Woolloongabba’s new Trafalgar Lane development for their new café, The Priory.
The Priory will be located at the front of Pellicano’s new $85 million mixed use development, Trafalgar Lane, which overlooks The Gabba.
The Priory will specialise in breakfast and lunch, similar in style to Pablo, and will gradually evolve to cater for evening dining, catering and private functions.
Patrons can expect delicious, seasonal dishes with a focus on local product.
Designed by Round Peg, The Priory will occupy a 158 square metre space over a lease term of 10 years, with a five year option.
The Priory is due to open in early July, and will trade seven days a week from 6am.
As we’ve previously reported, The Priory will join Ristorante La Famiglia, Lola Coffee and Ribs & Burgers at Trafalgar Lane.
More announcements about Trafalgar Lane retailers and venues are expected in coming weeks, but the developers says there are still limited opportunities available for boutique cafes, bars, restaurants and service providers to secure space in the laneway.
Interested retailers can contact John Clark on 0419 672 781.
