Ipswich is getting a fresh new market to call its own, with the launch of the Ipswich Farmers & Artisan Markets this weekend.
You’ll be able to start your morning off with specialty roasted espresso coffee, pick up quality cuts of meat and seafood from local butchers and fishmongers, grab fruits and vegetables from local farmers, and take your tastebuds on a culinary journey with gourmet foods from all around the world.
You can smell the flowers and grab a bouquet to fill your home with amazing scents, or browse the array of handmade boutique homewares on offer. There’ll also be stallholders selling herbs and plants, as well as on-trend fashions, jewellery, beauty products, trinkets and gifts.
With plenty of parking and access to public transport, the Ipswich Farmers & Artisan Markets look like they could become a great place to browse, relax with friends, and even enjoy free live music while the kids are entertained with a variety of activities.
The markets launch this Saturday 19 March; organisers say that come rain, hail or shine, they’ll pop back up every Saturday morning at Ipswich City Square and D’Arcy Doyle Place from 6am to 1pm.
