The second Bites & Brews Craft Beer and Cider Festival will light up East Brisbane on Saturday 27 February.

Litres of liquid gold will be on offer, alongside plenty of food supplied by some of Brisbane’s favourite eateries and breweries.

Bites and Brews

The free event will be held at the Shafston Hotel, bringing together music, finger-licking eats, and over 120 different beers and ciders in a fun indoor and outdoor environment.

“We have some great local brands such as Newstead Brewing Co, Cricketers Arms, Brews Brothers, Hills Cider and Miss Matched Brewing, to name a few,” says Shafston Hotel general manager Grant Morgan.

“Come on an empty stomach and fill up on bites from The Bun Mobile, King of the Wings, Char Baby, Frying Piggy and more. This year we’re also catering to non-beer drinkers with beverages available from Sailor Jerrys, Pimms and Chambord.”

DJs and live bands will play throughout the festival, including headliners the Millennium Band, J-Funk, Danny Kewell and John King.

This year’s Bites & Brews Craft Beer and Cider Festival will be held at the Shafston Hotel (3 Lytton Road, East Brisbane) on Saturday 27 February from midday to 10pm.
