Maria A. Aristidou who is best known for creating beautiful paintings using coffee, has made a huge splash in the art world by recreating the world’s most famous paintings on cakes. Yep, delicious cakes!
From Salvador Dali’s famous The Persistence of Memory to Pablo Picasso’s Girl Before Mirror and Vincent Van Gogh’s The Starry Night – you name it, Maria can make it tasty!
She only started making the cakes for Patisserie Vienna Boutique, Cake Gallery in Larnaka in Cyprus, this year. And, it looks like she’s truly found her calling!
All the cakes are made with Vienna Boutique’s chocolate recipe, covered in sugar paste then decorated with Maria’s edible paints. The paintings usually take about 6-10 hours depending on the size and design.
