Brisbane’s annual day of giving is celebrating its 10th year with one huge festival of food.
Brisbane’s Big City Barbecue will be held on Friday 23 October, to help bring the community together by raising funds for local charities.
Held at the Riparian Plaza, this year’s event will feature the Riverbar and Kitchen doing delicious burgers, Madame Wu Asian offerings as well as Little Paella, Brat Haus and the very popular and very yummy Doughnut Time.
The event will run from 12pm to 2pm, with Councillor Graham Quirk, Lord Mayor of Brisbane’s official opening at 12:30pm.
As well as incredible food, you’ll get to enjoy an array of live entertainment and guest speakers throughout the day.
The event has already raised over $650,000 for charity since 2006. This year, the beneficiaries are Lord Mayors Charitable Trust, Drug Arm Australasia and Foodbank Queensland.
So enjoy yourself, eat lots of food and have fun, all for a good cause!
