What used to be an honour reserved for a select few is now open to all wine lovers.
Aiming to make the tradition of tasting a winemaker’s new vintage of the season not just one for the wine industry at the season’s first wine show, the RNA has established the RQWS (Royal Queensland Wine Show) Grape Grazing by Night event on July 3.
The event celebrates the conclusion of the 2015 RQWS and provides Queenslanders with the only opportunity of its kind to taste more than 2,000 wines, including the award-winning wines from the new vintage of season. The RQWS is the first wine show to be held for the season and the first to judge the 2015 vintage in Australia.
Complementing the exceptional wine selection will be grazing stations showcasing the award-winning cheese, lamb and beef from the 2015 Royal Queensland Food and Wine Show competitions. Mixing with Brisbane’s foodies, media and international wine judges, Grape Grazing by Night guests will have the rare opportunity to meet winemakers responsible for producing some of Australia’s finest drops.
The event will be held on Friday July 3 at the Brisbane Showgrounds starting at 5.30pm, and is a must for all foodies. Ticket start at just $80 per person, special group discount rates are also available.
