Brace yourselves, Brisbane, for the inaugural Park Food Trucks event in Bedford Park this Sunday.

Brisbane’s best food trucks are rolling into Bedford Park, Spring Hill this Sunday for the inaugural Park Food Trucks event.

Park Food Trucks is the sister event to the very popular Downey Park Food Trucks held in Windsor each month, focused on creating the same relaxed vibe and easy wind down from the weekend.

Following the success of Downey Park Food Trucks and overwhelming response from the community, Park Food Trucks will be popping up in local suburban areas around Brisbane.

Park Food Trucks is being launched at Bedford Park, corner Love Street and Water Street, Spring HIll on Sunday, 14 June 2015 from 12 noon to 5pm.  The stellar line-up includes ChipTease, King of the Wings, Kombi Koffein, Little Back, Pizzantica, The Bone Lorry and The Doughnut Bar.

Following the announcement of the inaugural Park Food Trucks event there is a wait list of food trucks wanting to be involved in future events.

Brisbane resident Emma Cuell is the founder of these unique community based events, generating a lot of interest not only from local residents, foodies and food trucks.

“Each event has been a huge success, it has been fantastic to see so many people out in the park supporting our local food trucks,” Ms Cuell said.

Local Councillor Vicki Howard said she was thrilled to have Park Food Trucks launch at Bedford Park, Spring Hill

“It has been wonderful to work with Emma on creating this community based event focused on activating our parklands and providing colourful events for Central Ward families,” she said.
